venue (to be confirmed) will be wilberforce road, due to the handy lines marking out 100m/200m etc.
out of the two bikes doing it, ones a £1000 beast with gear paddles where you want them, and mines a well-loved peugeot with gear levers on the frame which i dropped gear on for the first time in months yesterday. bizzarely, we were doing very close times.

i think we're running no starting blocks for the sprinters, standing start for us (it's 2 on 2).
we need to do a few more practise runs (at the moment they'd have us beat), but if anyones in cambridge and curious, then we'll be taking on the varsity guys in the next week or so.

I've made a bet with the fastest sprinter from the athletics team that i can beat him in a 100m standing-start sprint.
