I loved those pictures a few months back of those riders bommbing down those huge slopes of that big deep walled basin (can't remember the place,but i think it was something to with a reservoir project).Just off the top of my head like,can't remember which thread those pics were in.

He was a great bloke who liked a good 'ol chat.Late 70's track & TT frames i had from Dave had started using the Russell/Slough swan logo on the headtube.When i worked at Ken Ryall's shop he used to be scathing about him (Dave) and his frame designs(no seatstay/chainstay bridge,76 parallel pursuit frame circa 1976).At this time Ken was using Stan Pike to build his frames which were a little more conventional.Going by the logo's i'd guess at mid 70's.

Once in W.H.Smith i picked a magazine up and these advertising leaflets fell out on to the floor.I put the magazine back on the rack and casually walked away.I turn 73 next week.

Seatstays & Chainstays.Looks like it's been made of scrap leftovers.Or the "acid kicked" in when the builder got to that stage.

Bent seatposts,why?.Is there some reason for it?.

I once went to a relatives house on holiday and on the first morning i blocked the toilet with a huge shit, then when i flushed the toilet again to try and get it down, the toilet and bits of shit overflowed in the bathroom. There was no toilet roll left so picked up the shit with my hands and forced them and the bigger shit round the u-bend with my hands so the water would go down. then i mopped up the water on the bathroom floor with some towels, put them in the bottom of the washing basket and washed my hands. Job done. Beware american toilets that have narrow u bends.
