There's a reason for the tendency for hyped films to disappoint; (that is, besides the increased expectation).
It's a typical hollywood business model. Make a film on a reasonable budget, pump the promotions so much that you take 10 times the budget of the film in the opening weekend before the film inevitavely dives when people realise how shite it is. It's reproducable without having to rely on the integrity of the content, which cost lots for talent and can be hit and miss.
Although often people just swallow the hype. Of course, they've also moved on to building francise pictures with sequals and spins off as another means of guaranteeing big returns.
Fact.

Fearing for their safety, the photography crew ceased filming and took cover as Holland's aircraft again passed low over the ground, this time estimated as clearing the ridgeline by only three feet (1 m). The co-pilot on Holland's aircraft testified that he grabbed the controls to prevent Holland from flying the aircraft into the ridge while the aircraft's other two aircrew members repeatedly screamed at Holland, "Climb! Climb!" Holland responded by laughing and calling one of the crew members "a pussy".

footage of low pass is in there, they say it was 30ft. Maybe the film crew were pussies

don't know if this will work but:
Link is broke, bu do you mean this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2OIxo00UeM
The pilot was reported several times for low passes, one which was reported at 3 ft! It was a practice run for an airshow, they had confined airspace which he tried to avoid overstepping by taking a very steep bank, so steep he lost control, killing two others

How is a moustach/facial hair ironic.
good point
I guess the percieved irony lies in the percieved uncoolness of the moustache, similar to for "geek chique". It is contrived as a statement, not as a good look (although this is where the real irony lies as most of those going for the ironic moustache are just shallow trend followers who want to look good), but maybe i've got it wrong.
Fact is it isn't ironic, you have a moustache, people have them, vhassever.
Nothing wrong with having one, it should be reclaimed from pretentious little twats

Yeah i agree, it's fallen into the horizon formula.
There probably some TV exec whose asked the slim down the content. After all, most TV appears to be pitched towards the semi-comatose.
There are popular science books for children which explain special relativity, yet television producers seem to pussyfoot around scientific topics
