After 5 months of pissing around, the vendor's suddenly offered to exchange next week, Monday in fact.
But only today my solicitor actually sends me the lease. There's 2 leases, the original from 1978 and the extension from 2020.
I asked my solicitor several times if this was a lease extension, they said it was just a registration, a formality. As thing's come to light I ask for clarification on the lease but never got an answer. Only now I discover it was extended by 90 years in December 2020 (from 82 years). I know the solicitor had the original lease as the checked a clause with me back in October.
I don't know what to think anymore. I don't think I trust my solicitor.

On a bottle of Ledaig 10.
Very spicy and spikey peat. A really long finish. Very pleasing at 46%, I should add water to taste it better but I like the spice. Not quite a second bottle buy for me though.
Nikka from the barrel is still my fave. I just don't like a 500 ml bottle. It's nearly half gone in 2 sessions.

Sorry I'm jumping in mid-conversation so I might be missing the mark, but I was confused by this too. 00 flour just describes the grind and section of the wheat used (more selective I think), it doesn't indicate protein content necessarily, however 00 flour is primarily used for pasta and pizza dough so it might coincidentally be a higher protein flour, depending on which version you get. I've read that even if you get the high protein pasta 00 flour that the durum gluten behaves differently to "regular" wheat flour and is less stringy and elastic.
I switched from Canadian strong to 00 flour and it was a complete disaster because I happened to get a relatively low protein version. Waitrose Canadian Strong flour has worked in every bread recipe I've tried, it's the best because it available and uncomplicated. You need all the gluten you can muster.

Bit late to this, but that's an excellent crumb. I was really happy with mine, but never managed an even crumb.
I see you had success again this year, did the hard starter mixing not put you off? My flatmate threw my starter away in Oct and I realised even then it was too late. Now Brexit's holding all the good panettone at the border so I've given up this year.

Got a Gillette slim 196x the other day.
Lovely to handle and gives very close easy shave. It doesn't quite hide the corners of the razor so I nicked myself a few times but really like it. The chrome on both my previous safety razors started flaking off so it's nice to have something that will outlive me.

The Aussie commentary they have on UK TMS during burns' wicket was hilarious.
"Edged and out!... Root had gone!"
"Yeeeaah!"
"Beg your pardon burns is out, no cheering in here Kim"
"Oh"
"We're broadcasting in the UK"
"I'm sorry I got over excited, but mate I'm Australian wouldn't Johnathan Agnew give it some if.."
"No he wouldn't"
" Henry Blofeld?"
