the @6pt approved sock was the maap fat stripe sock. The ridge supply was for those who prefer more pronounced matchy matching.

The heart wants what the heart wants.
Wheels are beginning to turn on buying a new place. It's larger than the last place and the floor plan doesn't make any sense so it's going to need some smashy smashy and a bit of addy addy. I've done a pretty comprehensive ~scale drawing first pass in Illustrator to reassure myself that we're not making a huge mistake in terms of potential, but the more I look at it the more I think (well, know) we're making a huge mistake in terms of budget. Ah well, love a bit of adventure and a decade of living in squalor followed by a decade of poverty.

There's the Collier's Way – no idea on the quality of it, but it goes past our future front door and is something I'm looking to explore once we get there. Based on past experience of NCN routes it's likely impassable at all times of the year bar peak-heatwave.

BoA was on our secondary list along with other more-immediate Bath-bits (Combe Down) but we weren't as enamoured with it. Went to view a hilarious cottage in Conkwell with a downstairs ceiling so low I couldn't stand up straight (not that I do that anyway).
We've spent a fair bit of time in Frome over the last few years (2020 excluded) and at least some of it has been dry, so I can say with limited experience that it does get there eventually. Car's always filthy by the time we come home though, no matter the season.

I got a Cubo sideboard from Another Brand, made to custom dimensions and with a non-standard finish, for a price that was cheaper than a lot of other options* I was considering.
*other option 1 being a muuto enfold tall, with a provided width of 94.5cm. When it turned up at 106cm and definitely didn't fit in the alcove there were many annoyed people right up the email chain back to the supplier. Dimensions on the web are still incorrect.
