Just because it's a mountain bike and colorful doesn't mean it deserves public recognition. To be clear, I understand the point here is the aesthetic, but for the love of god please stop posting bikes that are functionally gimp.

About time we had a thread for this. Loud, flashy, slightly offensive and obnoxious looking mountainbikes. The kind of bikes that make 7 year old boys drop their jaws in awe, and we all know they are the kings of cool. The more suspension, the better. If it makes sense, it doesn't belong here.

I want to love it, but the bars look odd being that short. Or maybe stem being that long. or both.

Saturday morning Hackney to Richmond, couple of laps and back again. 40miles, nothing notable to report apart from sprinting down the Mall being rudely interrupted by thousands of tourists staring at men in silly hats

I've found the same riding fixed with geared others, way quicker uphill than them but smoked on downhills. Not that that bothers me, different riding styles innit.
Main concern for me is comfort on what will be the longest ride I've done, road bike being considerably comfier.

Guess all that matters is actually doing it one way or another, right?

Am I a lesser man for doing it geared?
