With tire levers as you would if changing a tube. Once I discovered no tube I poured in some sealant and pumped it up quick sharp.

Pretty sure my local bike shop would have done this. I recall having issues getting it to seat.

Turns out it is tubeless. Made a gap, poured some sealant in. Tire popped back into place.

Seems good.

I have a new washing machine connector, but can't get the old one off.

Will try again next time I'm there. In a horrible position at the back of the cupboard so hard to get access.

Does that mean it is attached to an inner tube as opposed to being part of a tubeless setup?

The tire has definitely been run tubeless in the past and is still fairly well attached to the rim. But I thought I'd put a tube in.

We now have this which still leaks. The washing machine inlet hose wouldn't come off, but started dripping more. So it's bound up in tape.

What are the connections highlighted in red? Could I connect a blue tap here and then the washing machine to that? Ie replace all the stuff highlighted in blue
