I have a Cannondale Rush 600, 19.5", front and rear suspension, 4" travel both front and rear, rear is a Fox with pro-pedal, front is a Lefty speed DLR.
160mm rear brake, 180mm front, SRAM groupset.
I serviced the bike fully- complete strip down and rebuild, including replacing the main swingarm linkage etc, then put it in the cupboard and have not ridden it since :(
So I'd like it back clean and undamaged please.
I'm in Greenwich if you want to come and have a look at it/take it?
mate, that sounds absolutely perfect! Even more so because I have to drop it off at my mates near Greenwich as we're going in his car. Never ridden a SRAM groupset (I'm a strictly shimano usually) or a lefty fork - exciting.
Thank you so much.. I would LOVE to borrow it and will take very good care of it. Could I come have a look early next week some time?

What size frame do you need and do you promise faithfully to adhere to the "you break it you fix it" agreement?
Of course! I should have said that in the OP.. goes without saying. It should just be a bit of light single track/xc, no hard DH or anything so I won't be hammering it.
I'm about 6' so anything like a 19-20" frame would be good.

I know this is off topic and probably a massive longshot but...
I am going to Wales next weekend and would like to do some riding while I'm there - however having sold my singletrack and DH bikes all I'm left with is my singlespeed dirt jump bike.. which only has a back brake/short travel fork etc and isn't worth taking..
Does anyone have any suggestions for places I could go to rent a decent (full suss?) MTB
in London to take away for a weekend, or does anyone fancy lending me something for some money/beer/eternal gratitude? Full suspension would be a bonus, but that fussed..Ta, Dan

It seems that no-one will agree on this - I would say that the people posting are split in half between having a "funny" jersey with forum-related stuff on like HTFU and UTFS .. and the other half which just wants something classic and simple.
I know it's a ballache in terms of production, but why not just have two?
Alternatively, just one and only buy it if you like it? There's plenty of other choice out there in both the "funny" and "classic" categories.+1 for what Big Daddy Wayne (I think) said about just finding one designer and getting him/her to do some options before narrowing down. Thats how things normally work with graphic design.

Bit of an 'Oooh Errr' subject, but couldn't find anything on the search.
I've found recently that Assos cream REALLY doesn't agree with my skin, and it's making my life pretty miserable!
I've used that Nature's Kiss stuff before and it didn't cause irritation in the same way, but wasn't as good performance wise.Anyone got any gooch-cream recommendations? ;) cue bad jokes etc etc

dude those are downhill gloves and hot as hell!
I've got a pair somewhere for mtb.. but the carbon knuckles make them really un-flexible.
OP - just go try gloves on.. don't spend more than £30, they're just gloves and will fail/get filthy eventually.. Gel is good if you're riding for longer periods of time, but don't buy anything with holes in the palm "to let your hands breathe" they don't work and you'll just shred them.

i got them a while back for 30usd -

My process when crashing without someone else to blame is slightly different..
- Swear
- Throw bike
- Swear
- Retrieve bike
- Check to make sure nothing is broken
- Swear at something different
- If nothing is broken, break something
- Ride it to where you were going (whilst swearing)
- Arrive, wipe away blood, kick bike for good measure
+1 swearing helps a lot I find.

would just like throw in my two pence and say that Timbuk2 have possibly the nicest and most helpful customer service I've EVER experienced.
Bought an xl courier bag a year ago and recently two of the velcro tabs came off - I sent a photo to timbuk2 and they immediately gave me store credit for a new bag - no receipts, no warranty nonsense and no headache.
I have mixed feelings about the bags, but they are comfortable enough, super waterproof and pretty tough.
I just wish that Apple, Barlcays and Vodafone customer service could be that good!

you're a star. I'll probably swap the pedals for some shimano spd's.. just easier as I've got those cleats in my shoes already.
Thanks again.
