Jemery vine is a total prick! BBC basically has no station for people who are between 25 -40 because if you do listen to radio 2 you've got to listen to this cunt when your having lunch. 6 musics decent but it's just fucking digital. Radio 2 is the biggest pile of middle england wank.................. I could go on at infinatum

I got these and have done about 500 miles in them in about 4 months. Mine were a tad cheaper than they're listed, but I'd reccomend them as a they're very comfy with decent support. The ratchet velcro strap is actually vg. They do look a bit renaldo esque though.

Like these ;) for girlfriend bike mk2
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220469313333Worked with wood since 18, I would not ride those bars on the roads...
Unless it was laminated with some carbon or alloy slices. Or the road was perfectly tarmaced and pothole free.I was thinking of making up something like this: carbon bars with wooden rings (probs ash/elm combo 5-10mm thick) made up that are glued on with epoxy and sanded dead smooth. Prob's make up some brass bar-ends too. If somebody else was into a simple straight bar or something with a bit of sweep I might condsider looking into it more. I think your right about those bars, even skateboards are starting to use kevlar /carbon weave.

You don't always need them, screw the bolts out so there's only 3/4 threads left and hit the top of the bolt with a hammer till the axle pushes through a 1/2" or so. Spray in a bit of WD40, give them a wiggle and the cranks normally come off. If you've got a longer bolt that fits, that will let you get the axle further through.
I've just had a look in my toolbox and found 2 of the little bastards. I'm pretty sure this is a legit way of taking your cranks off as you don't use the collar to take off your cranks just the long bolt.
Still I wouldn't go ape, just lots of sharp hits. If they were put on with coppaslip and haven't been sitting out in the rain for the last year you'll be right.

ok so i just checked the goldtech/betd website and apparently their rear hub now gives a 42.5mm chainline, which should work fine with the miche primato bb which gives 42mm chainline. unless you have an older goldtech hub.

Could someone keep an eye out for my mate jo in the ent's section (eddie izzard new tour) http://www.londonfgss.com/thread32474.html
-
His new tour started in Aberdeen last night. My flatmate went to see it, he got free tickets because he sold eddie's pal a bike (jammy git!) Anyway by all accounts it was a really good show. Jo said he was on top form ramblingness and he'd reccomend it to anyone. The funny thing is the Evening Standard were there and intervied / photographed him and his mate. His names Jo (joseph marshall), he used to work in putney cycles and I know he would be fucking made up if somebody could keep an eye out / save a copy for him.
Cheers
