Most daunting thing to sort is the BB which will probably need some serious surgery. Have found quite a few forks like these.

Do you know what the stock steerer length is for Twenties / Kingpins?

I have accidentally bought a Raleigh 20 on eBay and whilst I'm working out wtf I'm going to do about the bottom bracket, I also need some other bits. Looking for as close to free; all crumby, bottom of the parts bin specials considered.

Definitely:

1. 1" threadless or threaded (406) fork. Caliper or canti mount. 250mm+ steerer
   
2. ø28.6mm seatpost 400mm+
   
3. Saddle, preferably something fit for living outdoors (i.e not foam padded)
   
4. NDS crank. 170mm Square taper, silver preferably
   
5. 406 tyres + tubes
   
6. 1" headset (or parts; threadless races, threaded races, threaded topnut etc. etc.)
   
   

Possibly:

1. Threadless BB - YST or VO
   
   

Are you set up single speed or fixed?

If the former look at cheap 29er mtb wheels. Huge second hand market for these.

For fixed, there are options; eg Surly Ultra New come in 135old. Maybe find a 29er wheelset and rebuild rear with new hub.

Ah, the opposite problem of what I understood, sorry.

How is the platform attached to the frame? Seems a wedge on the rear fixing point solve this.

Have you tried ... a smaller wheel?
