Post for a friend;
Sara is after a 49/50cm road bike. Sara would prefer gears (8 / 9 / 10 speed). Sara likes the look of steel bikes from the 90s, but also would consider an aluminium frame if it isn't a big old mess of hydro formed ugliness.
Sara has a budget of Β£250 for a ride-away, but would also consider a frameset for ~Β£100-120 (has to be able to take gears).
Many thanks from Sara.

What defines this as a collective vs a club or group? Seems to me your use of language is underpinned by some sense of social co-operation and inclusivity ...
Despite being a bit voguish and verging on out of touch, in execution it's paradoxical in the corporate context, especially when the product is so overtly means and industry exclusive, with a club-style membership model.

The EC1 Collective is a golfing community with a difference. Our primary goal is to give our member's experiences from within our rich UK golf industry. Whether it's golfing with pro teams, golf demos or R&D insight from big manufacturers, our community enjoys exclusive access to curated events from some of the biggest names in UK golf.
Together we have a passion for the golfing industry, and the sport as a whole. We want to do our bit to help them thrive. We work closely with the industry whilst maintaining a commitment to generating value for our members.
Our membership is formed primarily from corporate sectors such as media, advertising, design and publishing, as well as banking, technology, law firms and consultancies in the City & Canary Wharf. We are growing all the time, so why not join us on one of our trips and meet like-minded professionals with a common passion.

Bought the Roleur x Pas Normal Studio cap by mistake. Didn't see the Roleur collab logo on product page ... and the colour came through different to pictured ... and I realised that riding around with PNS blazoned across my forehead is possibly an uncomfortable truth too far.
On topic though, the Velominati thing is fucking trite, I thought Roleur was better than that.

re: handlebars, set up as you feel comfortable. Nothing wrong with a bit of roll back, especially on a touring / rando / trad bar shape.
