chrobin, whats the TT length? the reach on those bars has to be 300+ mm? You're almost at the front of the wheel. Etc... Who makes it? What are you using it for? Couldn't imagine riding that thing on the road.
cool bike.
looking back at it, that bike is nuts. almost no BB drop and that seat tube has to be 76 degrees.

I like it, how did you go about it?
lots of elbow grease, paint stripper, 150-300 grit sand paper, acetone, tape, paint, paint pen, and then a heavy dose of petroleum distillates for rust prevention. I'm sure it'll tarnish a bit where theres no paint, but should still look good with regular application of the distillates. (every few months or so).
needs a new saddle, new pedals and a chain guard. this saddle is very very comfy, but it's ugly and heavier than the frame.
here's a final photo outside. click to enlarge.

What tyres are these? Nice looking build :) My kind of thing.
Performance Bike's (an american retailer) very affordable sometimes dodgey house brand. I'm sure they'd ship quick to where you are. Big reliabe company. The house brand is called Forte. I bet those tires are 10 bucks.
edit: i just looked for them and couldn't dig them up. sorry maybe out of...

^^most of the cables are too short, the black on the top tube is meh, and the brakes look like they are likely a rough stop, and the seat/stem is too high (bike too small). All minor tweaks, but sorry it doesn't look nice as is. All minor issues,but.... I know he said the bike is too small and it's for sale. A smaller owner would do it well.
not trying to be a dick. sorry if it seems that way. now someone can chew my previous post apart! haha....
honestly the ONLY real issue i have is how short the cables are. just peeves me. the other shit is whatever.

Well i decided to go a different route with the univega i posted a few pages back.
This frame was in shit shit shit condition when i found it. Bent fork, rusted, stickers all over it. anyway, i decided to strip it raw and paint the lugs black and pen the lug lines white.
here's the finished product. It's looks amazing. nicest project i've done on the cheap for sure.
As usual, ick the climages for pharger lotos.
this is the only color on the bike. it stands out, but it's a really nice accent.

sorry don't have a full photo yet. iphones in the dark basement don't take well to distance photos and i only finished it last night. Still need a rear brake and maybe tidy up the cock pit with some tape or new grips.

I have a similar problem, coming from mountain bikes i want something i can ride a long time but want to be able to jump and drop it. Plus i live in Sheffield so no gears will be a ball ache but i don't think anything else will be strong enough, thinking of getting a volume cutter anyway.
you could build up an internally geared hub or this or this.
the truvativ is fully functional and on the market. All mountain and Freeride. looks tight. but requires chain guide tabs.

What I truly hate about the red Feather is the stupidly short hipsterised twitchy stem, I mean why? why can't you just put an 100-110mm stem on it?
i agree with this, but i have never enjoyed a 100+mm stem... that said, i ride on the hoods on my road bike and thats a nearly 200mm reach, so... i dunno.
ed that video is... i don't even know what to say.

It's a japanese Univega made by Miyata.
It was in really rough shape and had no parts. i puppy-killed it, sanded the rough spots and painted it. I'll put some white decals on it, just to spice it up.
I also spent a long time cleaning up the seat tube cluster/seat stays with a file.
Click on the images, as usual...
It's getting a bunch of new parts. New generic deep section silver rims, chrome fork, and a brake. single speed. I stripped the black paint off of these levers. It's gonna look nice.

it's not. look at mine next time you see it. Separate joint from the b/b
unless this is true. in which case, there is chain growth and that will factor in as an addtional tendency to compress the system when pedaling and expand the system when slowing down.
first analysis still stands as approximately accurate because the pivot is so close to the BB.
this will be in addition to that analysis.
If the bike has more that a few cm of travel, it's not the best design for single speed.
I would never ever ride it fixed unless i was really just rolling around town and not going down hills.

nothing. cars stop. it's like a minute and a half new clip talking about "umfisen spekin stoukentf untarten feeexed geeer"
