I see that point, but I don't think it's realistic for some of us.
I don't identify as a tribal player, and agree it is definitely something about London polo that is 'broken' or could be better, but also am realistic: A lot of people don't switch scenes because it's not logistically possible for them to commute that far on a weekday evening. I'm not sure there's anything you can to to address that.
But we can address souths numbers dipping and being erratic (unreliable) which means some people have abandoned playing/setting that time aside for polo.
(This is something I'm going through myself, and is putting me off attending: I can't justify protecting days from the rest of my social life for polo, because when polo doesn't happen on those days I resent setting aside the time. This happens purely because the south community seems hellbent on never having a routine when it comes to Sunday/Monday).
This is also something to consider with trying to get new players into the sport: It's easier for us to have set days people can try and make time for in their calendar, if it's on some weeks not on some others because of numbers, that becomes an admin headache.

But realistically, would that change things?
I'm assuming Northies will probably move to Mondays for their second day, being as football is Tue and Thur, and they don't have the majority of their players playing on a Sunday.
There is a massive undeniable correlation with high attendance on a Sunday at Agnes Riley meaning low attendance on a Monday evening and struggling for numbers. I'm trying to kill two birds with one stone here: We spread attendance figures across the week. The majority of players stick to one scene most of the time, so I feel Souths being Tue, Thur, Sun will benefit more people and therefore attendance.

Guess it's not happening.
Anyway, shall we start to discuss changing days we play?
It's been suggested we switch our newington garden Wednesday evening to Thursday evening so as not to clash with the Northies (who are having to move their day to Wednesday cus of footballers and lighting).
If this is going ahead, can I also suggest we change Monday to Tuesday? It keeps the spacing between south sessions even so people who want to play every session don't burn themselves out: Sunday all day, Tuesday Evening. Thursday Evening.
What are southies thoughts?
