To Nowherefast and Crotch de legs - The classifieds are policed quite ruthlessly in order to keep undesireable elements out. This means that pretty much everything for sale on here is worth the price it is advertised for and members (both new and old) aren't ripped off. This self policing also ensures there are none of the scams here that run on other sites (Gumtree ect) and that goods sold on here are not generally stolen, or if they are then it is found out pretty quickly.

If you want to be part of a community that socialises together, helps each other out and generally looks after it's own then welcome.

If you want to try and overcharge or in some way rip us off, or be rude or obnoxious in the face of constructive criticism, then just fuck off and leave us to it.

It is indeed a lot of dorrah but it would cost a lot more to build it up to this spec. Beautiful bike, I hope it goes to a deserving home.

According to Sheldon JIS was used on older low/mid range Jap bikes. Almost everything else was ISO so this probably wont be suitable for most.

+1 on interparcel. I've sent a few frames with them for about £15 and they have always been good.

I think the Squadra was the model above this made from SLX. They are indeed lovely frames and I'm sure this will make someone very happy. It hasn't yet though...still available.

Great idea. Easy to do with an oxy torch but make sure you know whats been in the drum beforehand.... Oil, fuel, thinnners and such can all lead to an earth shattering kaboom...

Was this the replica? This is the same as mine however my spoiler bb shell has been cut and it has slotted cable guides, which are external for the rear brake like the frame in the op. It came into my hands with a 3ttt 2002 model stem from the early 90's and what look like matching grey anodised bars and a full 7402 DA groupset. I'll try and post pics over the weekend as I'd really like to know if it's a team frame or a replica. Not that it matters I'm sure but I'd be interested to know anyway.

This is getting interesting. I always wondered if mine was a replica or team frame and with the NL detectives on the case I might find out! Mine had the Concorde symbol panto'd into the lugs as well but it doesn't have a model name.

I have one of these PDM bikes from SLX with the slotted spoiler bb shell, cable guides and a full DA group and it and rides beautifully. It's a little heavy on hills but it descends so well I don't care. This is great value at around £380 for a classic bike.

Thats what it looks like to me. They will end up being a bit higher that mtb shoes but they would be warm*
