Righto, then I need to get off my arse and post an official time. Rode a clockwise solo 1:03 in Autumn with only a light breeze but didn't time each individual lap. I'd be off that pace now I reckon as I've stopped everything except the commute and the odd weekend pootle for the last couple of months.

Pardon my ignorance but what's the story with the directions? I normally go clockwise as I'd rather do the shorter and steeper Broomfield hill than the draggy Sawyers hill and the one coming up Roehampton gate (?).

What's the consensus as to the best way to go? Is one way consistently faster than another. Presumably these are all solo times rather than groups, right?

Got back from Aus at midnight last night and am working now........so probably out.
