The greatest living mind of the 20th century is really something to behold, and lately ie the last 20 years have seen others attributed his work dismissed, ie Marconi was quite happy to have been crowned the king of radio, though actually Tesla was before him by quite a while. Edison was on the american senate, and was great friends with JP Morgan, and when it is looked into properly, didn't discover anything. His myriad teams of students did.
