A friend and I arrived at the top, pretty shattered, coming from the North side, and stopped by the concrete shack thing. We must have been there more than 5 minutes when a German lady appeared from behind the shack smoking a cigarette. She asked which direction was Fort Augustus and left. It was hilarious and totally bonkers.

I tried to do the buildings insurance as you need to from exchange. Turns out your average insurance contract won't cover for that length of time before moving in so we had to go with a specialist. £120 for 6 weeks cover :(
Still, worth it if the seller decides to burn the place down before we move in.
