I'm going Noodles on my Mercian Tourer to accompany the Dynamic stem, and reading this makes me realise I should finish the trio and get the SP too, although 'tis tres expensive!

I'm having very similar problems with my Mercian.
Both the dropout screws were rusted in and snapped when I tried to remove them. Also, the BB needs running through again as the threads are a bit mashed.
But more worryingly, one of the canti bosses is bent slightly inwards.
I'm arranging to take the frame to a local frame builder in Brighton to see what he can do.

Who wants an easy build anyway! Persevere, this will look sick when it's finished.

For light touring would you suggest wider bars than my shoulder width?
