All I’m saying is why 6 mates, all experienced players, couldn’t just come together and play a competitive game in good spirit is beyond me, especially considering we all made the effort to turn up on a week night in shit weather conditions and pull together from a NE scene that feels like it’s struggling to stay together these days. In all my years playing the league, that was the lamest game I’ve ever experienced. To me it made a mockery of everything polo is meant to stand for. That game ended up meaning absolutely nothing to me and quite frankly makes me want to hang up my gloves.
