I would say he is simply showing off his good work rather than really trying to sell them. Its an interesting project and they seem to have come out looking great. I dont think he will lose much sleep if they don't sell....

You have been waiting to flame this guy for the last 19 hours and there doesn't seem to be any reason for it. He gold plated some toe clips as a project and looks like he did a good job of it and isn't really out to sell them so why dont you leave him to it and shut the hell up unless you have something useful to add.
