do u guys think that they are a bit overpriced ?
They are overpriced as in they stock £1000+ keirin framesets but the other high end bits are the same price as anywhere else. They also have some silly priced clothing but it all looks good and are from small bespoke companies and very high quality so are obviously going to be more expensive than altura.
I think though that for useful/non-bling bits and tools TFG is cheaper than condor and even evans for a lot of things and as a one stop shop for fixed gear bits then it is the best in London.

It should (but please check) be on tight if it is already installed otherwise you have to get it tightened on with chainwhip as it is your only rear brake whilst fixed so you do not want it coming loose! Definitely get your mechanicmate to help you out as it is the kind of thing bike shops charge a fortune for.
You should really get a lockring pretty soon after if you decide to ride fixed (again around £10) just for extra safety but until you start doing wild one footed skidz around town you should not have too much loosening trouble.... -

This is the whole purpose of having a flip flop hub! Just get a cog which is the same number of teeth as your freewheel and put it on (get it tightened with chain whip too) and flip the wheel round. Do not even worry about the brake to begin with, leave it on until you get used to being fixed (but do not use the rear brake otherwise you will never get used to being fixed).

I ran a 107 as a replacement for a 103 on my fuji track without a problem, was not even that noisy. It was really hard to find a 103 when the stock shitty fuji track one gave out on me. I think on lower end components you can get away with a lot more. I do agree on keeping iso and jis together though again dont get obsessed get out and ride.

thanks for looking Omar, I tend to agree about the high end stuff on that market - stands out a mile, so they are less likely to have it on show. I'm tending to look more towards the gumtree/ebay side of things at the moment.
Appreciate the eyes out East though!
I know its tough to wait but sometimes bikes get kept in storage for a few weeks after they have been stolen until the heat dies down and people are not searching any more then they will appear in the usual places. Hopefully it will show up eventually.
Also i presume that there is no way it could have been an innocent (+Sun+Booze) mistake and someone took it thinking it was theirs or their friends seeing as there was 400+ bikes there?

@clefty
Been for a good scour round pikey brick lane but no sign of any bromptons. Have to say though there is a real lack of high end stuff down here today. Maybe the police crackdowns are making them more wary. Will keep my eyes open over the next couple o weeks though. -

A bunch of not so exciting photos here as there was not much time for snapping whilst marshalling! Some nice ones of Team Marshal at rest though.
Great day out, well done everyone. Went and got some food after Bethnal Green and lost the ability to move afterwards so i hope the afterparty went well.

Apologies for the dredge.....
Can anyone recommend a decent/trustworthy/cheap garage around the Hackney area to get an MOT done?
