Finally got my frame on Tuesday - Rebadged Concorde Columbus Thron frame with Freecia Racing branding. It came with a Cinelli XA Stem, Campagnolo Chorus headset and BB. Needs a crank, forks, bars and a possible visit to Armourtex - looks like it will be a slow build over the next few months...

Recently switched from ss to fixed - from 18/48 to 16/48. Being more than a bit of pie lardass has led to me sweating like a pig on some journeys and seriously thinking that I wasn't gonna make it home. I may have to switch to a 44 tooth chainring during this baptism of fire...

Just found out that there is a very good chance that the frame is a rebranded Concorde frame. I'm tempted to go down the Concorde decal route...

OK well don't listen to me, listen to them. Maybe even get jos/keith to take it down to them so they do what you want, they might take more care over their frames.

I went to Tour De Ville on Sunday and I saw some of the bikes that they have sent to Armourex and they got hopes up.The chrome masking looked impressive but now I'm having second thoughts.

I'm getting a Columbus EL Oversize frame (badged up as Freccia Racing) early next week and I'm for a bit of advice on what to do with it. As you can see it's not in great cosmetic condition but is otherwise sound. I was planning to take it to Armourtex but any other ideas would be welcome.

I saw flashmx at BLB on Sunday - It was great to see that he got his bike back.

I snapped it up, a 52cm 531 F+F and headset, but I'm selling it because its too small for meand the build has never got started. I'll take £60. I'm looking to get what I paid for it.

I'm considering a Ribble TT frame as the heart of a new build - would this be a good idea or should I stick on a conventional road frame?

I have three white Turbos none of which are perfect all with some wear - I'll do pics tomorrow but they will be around the £9 to £14 mark.

I have to admit that for a short time I rode ss (track frame) with only a front brake. I met a fellow forum member that I was being extremely foolish - needless to say I added a rear brake using a couple of cable ties within a few days and feel much safer for it. I quickly realised what a mug I had been...

Genesis Flyer fork and Shimano M520 spd's both of which are from a partly competed build that I bought on the forum a couple of weeks ago. I've haven't used either - I have a Reynolds fork on my build and MKS pedals as I don't have any shoes with clips.

Looking for £30 for the fork and £8 for the pedals but may trade for a half decent white saddle.
