MIght interest folks in this thread:

edit - although IIRC it was being discussed elsewhere on the forum a while ago?
Sounds like a great idea. This is how I listen to music anyway, but a lot of people just have it on in the background whilst reading or working or driving. I think listening for the sake of listening is quite different and you get a lot more out of the music.
I have read back the above, and I sound like a twat.

I just ordered some 127 roll film for my mums old Kodak Brownie:

It's fixed shutter speed and aperture, 1/50th and f11 IIRC. So I guess with 100 speed film, its only going to work on bright ish days outdoors. Or I could push it a few stops. The negatives will be bigger than 35mm so they should scan quite nicely, but I've now idea how well it will work.It also looks like I could bodge some 35mm into the camera and "shot the sprockets" which seems to be all the rage on flickr at the moment, but it might not focus so well as I think the 127 gets curved inside the camera, but the 35mm will not fit in the guides, and be pulled flat across the focal plane.

Would be really keen to see the average speed and riding time if anyone has it...
I'll upload the Garmin tonight and post the link.
I was really tired last night and not much better this morning. Also the Surly had a puncture so I drove Darcy to nursery and got the tube to work.
I hate the tube (both in terms of London Underground, and the deflated one on my nursery bike.)

Londons famous Owen Reed, Pinkgottimobbs and Donut on Tri-X 400 pushed 3 stops to 3200 in d76 1:1 for 11 minutes. Indoors at night with just a bit ambient artificial light
Probably not the best film or developer for this scenario, and pushed a bit far judged by the lack of shadow detail and massive grain, but the contrast on the higher values works as it was quite flat in the room.

After weeks of just opening a beer whenever I feel like it having to wait until at least 6 seems like punishment. Anyone fancy a pint later? The Flask in Highgate is nice, how about there. 7ish?
Hello
My name is Simon and I am interested in coming to the "North Drinks". Does it require a club membership, or can I just turn up?
I have a fixie in one of my sheds at home but I will be on a multi speed today, is that ok?
Warmest regards and a Happy New Year to all.

I got the negative for x-mas. It makes a lot if sense and it really helps with the way you think about the picture before you take it.
I do photography as a hobby as I think it is fun. I dont prerend that my leica makes my pictures any better as the camera is a far from the limiting factor. My skill is what is lacking, but hey it is a hobby. I do however love the leica for the beautiful thing that I think it is. In the same way I like nice watches.

I had a quiet NYE so I thought I'd ride to to Bedford on Saturday morning for lunch at my in-laws on New years day.
50 miles.
Constant drizzle.
1 puncture.
Country lanes (terrain reminded me of TNRC Roydon).Perfect way to start 2011.
The roads were almost empty and it felt quite solitary at times but it was really nice to get out on the road bike and get some miles in.

I love the idea of this, and I'd give it a try, but things like D76 are only £2 for the powder to make a litre.
Good find though. I like the sound of getting useable negs from lots of different iso's.
