was really a great day... got a nice 64t crankset, 2 seatposts and some smaller stuff.
great bikes on display and some nice stuff a the jumble, but the 'porn'-parts were a bit too expensive.
also happy that my bikes survived the long journey...looking forward to next year!

as far as i know i don't need a trainer to watch me ... but there will always be someone around during the 'open' practice times

closer to the monthly meeting/regular rides ... also as long I don't have an 'actual' track bike I can get a track bike from their room filled with diamant's :)
would suck to have to pick it up on the other side of town!most clubs are on the outskirts of Berlin

I went to www.radsport-adw.de ... don't really know how they are compared to other clubs, but they are quite close to home and they made a very friendly impression (at least the one guy I spoke to)

well it's not as strict apparently ... just join a club and they get you the necessary license.
with the license you can go train at certain practice hours.just joined a club today and only have to wait for the license now.

you need to be a member of the BRV (Berliner Radsport Verband = Berlin Cycling organization)
then you need a trainer from a club to attend the practice, which is only twice per week afaik.
don't know if you've got any velodrome experience ... but can't imagine they even let people with none or little experience on the track, even if you have the necessary licencse.
(they write on the link below the training is for 'Berlins elite and senior drivers')anyway you should try and let us know ... I'd also love to take some laps in there.
