Can anyone recommend a light, folding electric bike? My wife was recently diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and is struggling with her GoCycle (which I think is useless as a folding bike anyway). It’s for commuting, so the folding, lifting part, is key.

Nice bike.

Not very helpful, but I think only Shimano cross MTB and road disc. I don’t believe SRAM do.

Not sure how it relates to Amey’s build thread though.

Looks great. I had the same idea a while back, wanted to spray my caad the caad 4 candy apple.

Where did you get it sprayed? How did you colour match fork, were they wet sprayed together?

Made my life a misery when I used to live Brighton. Council sprayed twice but didn’t do owt (councils can only use biodegradable pesticides which dont work) - the good stuff was too expensive for us.

At its worst, I would go to bed with hoody tucked into joggers, gloves and socks and the hood drawn to leave a small circle on my face. I used it go into college with loads of bites on that small area. Used to get called fleabag.

My flat mates were never affected even though they had loads of the little buggers in their rooms. Bites apparently only affect people who are allergic to the anticoagulant they inject you with before they suck.

And they really fucking suck

You’re the second person to warn me about the tyres, I’m not too fussed about the tan walls, so will keep an eye out.

Thanks for the advice on the seat post, have yet to see a ti one I can afford. Upgrading because I have a dodgy neck and when carrying - whilst not too bad - starts to become uncomfortable.

The collective scorn I receive from my fellow commuters has meant I need a more train friendly bike. I bit the bullet and bought this. I’ve always sneered at Bromptons without ever riding one and now I feel a bit stupid. It’s great, everything works perfectly, and the tool belongs in a design museum. I need some advice on seatposts, which is best? (in black).
