As I said, this is when traffic is already moving, so peds cannot cross anyway. I am by no means an RLJ advocate, but being able to get ahead onto gt marlborough st is very handy in avoiding being forced into parked cars by vans, and such a system works very well in france and germany

PoPo at the junction between Regent St and Gt Marlbro' St this morning. Pulling people turning left on the red. Particularly annoying as the flow is always predominantly vehicles leaving Gt Marlbro' towards Brook St, so loads of space and pedestrians can't cross anyway. Crack down apparently prompted by cyclist hitting a pedestrian at this junction.

What happened to the discussions of us getting the same rules as France re. cyclists turning on red? I remember talk of this being a way to help the old HGV problem

will keep an eye out, best to check out g-whizz/aarons bikes/grandads as well. however rocky mountains have been stocked by silverfish distribution for a number of years, and then distributed by evans for the past 3, so they are unfortunately not as rare as they were.

Though I'm sure it'll surprise some people, I've gotta say Evans are the best for wheelbuilding. Josh is excellent, and last time I checked it was £30.95 including spokes. i.e. way cheaper than anyone else i'm aware of.

the frame is the alfine model, but its an XT rear hub, with a single speed kit.

Brakes are Avid BB7 road pull, with Odyssey medium length levers on Bontrager low rise bars.

I do love it, but I also love my motorbike and I cant afford to take the tests to ride it.

I understand that you can just do a non stop ride and it will pick out marked segments that you've completed automatically - is that right?
