Feeling a little sad today. Noticed a very slight ripple on the down tube of my Woodrup. Decided to remove the paint around the area, it has a very slight bulge. No crack, nothing on the top tube, forks are not bent and headset spins freely. Has anyone got an opinion? Has it been front ended? Safe to ride?

if you buy campag indexed shifters the same speed as your campag free-hub (example: seven speed shifters with seven speed hub). it will not matter if the front or rear mechs are shimano or campag. it will work fine, but it will be a mix of Japanese and Italian parts, not that its really an issue.
and it wont matter one bit if your using a friction shifter....
did you not want a braze-on mounted shifter rather than a clamp on one?

It is your bike, but i think it would look (extra)class with mudguards. It is designed to take them after all.......
I would say something like the aluminium Tour De France would look amazing......
Or the Olympics in silver or red......Some on ebay BIN £25 at the moment.
