52/16 allows me to just get around hastings, and still go alright in cambridge. Though for commutes in the summer i really wish I had something a bit hard. and hastings is marvellous...especially once you get out of here!

I have the hub as mentioned in the title, and the cones have become ridiculously pitted. the hub itself etc is fine, it is just the cone I need replacing.

Can these cones be found to fit the threading on the axel! Does anyone have any spares?

I am specifically after the small drive side cone nut.

haha yea. As i said, its for my girlfriend, and I've just been pissing about on it, so I haven't actually got it set up properly. When she finally gets on it, I will my make sure its set up right for her, or get a different saddle if she finds it uncomfortable!

Cheers. No idea what the frame is. It has quite nice lugs with small cut outs in them and gippieme dropouts, so it cannot be that bad, but i have no idea beyond that!

bike just finished for my girlfriend. Yes, its fixed with no foot retention, but with front and rear brake its seems like less of an issue. Saddle will be lowered for her of course. Just wish I new what the frame was...

riding drunks fine as long as your rolling. great if you don't have to stop between start and finish. bad when you find yourself stopped and forget to slide your feet out of the pedals...

Freecycle, got these wheels the other day from dayno and don't need them (ended up cheekily nabbing the tyres off them though...). have them sitting in the office and leaving today, so if you need a set of old 700c 5 speed wheels come and grab them, both true and still roll remarkably well.
I am based in fitzroy. if you want/might want/fancy them please come, i would love you foreer.
