On the topic of scary plane experiences= I was on a propeller aeroplane journey (only short and about 45 mins of flying) and it was my first time on a propeller aeroplane with only 3 other people on the flight besides my family(not including the air hostess and pilots) and I was sitting right beside the propeller so my window was just propeller blades.
I thought this was cool and was really excited for getting going and so the other prop got going on the other row across from me and we start moving. I kind of figured that the other one would start up in a couple of seconds, so when we started to taxi I began to get worried. At a point I thought we were on the actual runway with the engine still not running. The engine began to go after that and after it had started up it felt like it wasn't 20 seconds before we were taking off.
I'm not saying this was anywhere near as scary as the previous ones btw but its my only plane experience that has reduced me to shakes and near freakout and screaming at the pilots through the door level.

Also, the next day when returning from our trip (which was shit btw) we landed in wind and rain and landed in a cross wind that made us buffer sideways and was intense (underlined for INTENSENESS). It was the last flight of the day so I got to high five the pilots on a nice landing on the way out.

Sorry to post a pic from a website you should have all visited but I think I peed a little when I saw this. The expression is so perfect!

well the shop that built it up usually does road wheels so im guessing that they didnt know, or messed up. I'll go get it fixed then, thanks

It is a commonish lacing pattern to have radial non drive side on the rear and 3 or 2 cross drive side. The wheel is stiffer but weaker than crossed both due to a increased imbalance of spoke tension. Also marginally lighter due to shorted spokes on the radial side.

When building wheels for people I always go 2 / 3 cross (depending on no of spokes) unless specifically asked due to the compromised made by putting radial.

Because the wheel is fix/fix and I probably will be using it on both sides should I go back and get the radially laced side done 3 cross?

I recently got a wheelset built up and on the rear one one flange looks to be 3 cross but on the other flange it is radially laced. Is this a proper lacing style or have the bike shop done an oopsie? The front wheel is done radially so it might be a mistake? I can post pics if you want

How expensive is the headset/fork?

Headset is pretty cheap not really a huge amount spent on that and the fork was £70.

Is installing a headset with some wood and a hammer easy or should i get a bike shop to do it?
