Geo looks ok on paper. Some modern numbers. Seat tube lengths might be considered a bit long now though. Has there been any reviews in the wild yet? That’ll tell the other half of the story.

Yep, way more faff than conventional adapters and won’t work with all IS mounts (hence the cut-out clearance template).
I’m guessing you’d position it with shims on the IS mounts (as per an old IS caliper)?

Most 30t 104bcd narrow/wide chainrings are threaded/thicker - only way to make the chain clear the spider. Nifty trick

AFAIK they swap you an already refurbed hub (your hub goes back to Taiwan for refurbishment and returned to join their refurbed stock). Reduces wait times

Don’t try to wedge a 30mm axle crank into a bsa/Italian threaded bb shell. It rarely ever ends well

Horizon's are bomber. Pretty thick at the tread so crazy long mileage possible (esp. if you rotate front/rear infrequently). Sidewalls can be a bit fragile but I guess this it what gives them their supple ride characteristics.
I'm a couple of months on the new Gravelking+ and no problems. Added p*ncture protection seems to have answered previous Gravelking failings with minimal weight increase (approx. +40g vs. std) and no discernible detriment to the riding characteristics (still plenty fast and comfy).

28T max on those derailleurs so I'm guessing the goatlink will only get you to 34-36T max. X7/X9 Type2 medium cage (max 36T) and Goatlink should be the ticket.

It's a fair bit lighter than a straight 44mm headtube plus you generally don't really need the increased diameter at the top of a 44mm (in steel anyway) - fork steerer doesn't need the internal space and the toptube doesn't need the weld surface area
