New frame (with oversize HT) forces sale of an otherwise awesome and great riding pair of forks. In great condition, as the photos show, with a nice long steerer tube (250mm w/ 2mm lip on the bung = 252mm total) and the original supplied Enve expander bung and carbon topcap.
Looking for £200.
Usual forum rules apply (dibs then PM)
Collection from Finsbury Park ideally.

Yep, reverted back to freewheel as I was getting pissed off with the amount of pedal strike I was getting and how slow and upright I had to take corners (28c / 165mm). I was running cages and straps so you might get away with a smaller bodied clipless pedal. Either way the Steamroller has got a low BB and doesn't like being lent over in corners fixed.

Yep, sorry. Wasn't very clear on that. Due to the properties with stainless you can't mix and match tubing like you can with other grades (think it's to do with the differing welding temps.) if you're going down the fully TIG'd route (brazing gets round this as - a la Brian Rouke).
Some frames will be TIG'd to pass CEN with the fillet braze purely a cosmetic finish.

Any builder that biulds with 953, will have a load of 853 experiance. So it'd be easy enough to ask.
This may be outdated info. But I remember reading that reymolds did'nt produce all the tubes in 953. Pretty sure its the same for 853. Starts to make a bigger difference when youre relying on rustfree properties though.
Again ask the builder.
I happy to post unfounded rumor, and heavily bias opinion in the meantime.
If you're TIG welding then all of the tubes will have to be stainless - you can use Reynolds 931 (Taiwanese produced) for the BB shell and HT to help bring cost down.

I'm aware they have a budget of about 10p but.......
Generally I think there trying to be Hip and Trendy rather than trying to get to the nuts and bolts of cycling. The Interviews are at a level most 12 year old would be proud of not supposed professionals.
The bleed over of sound from the Cafe is appalling and it could do with some glass screens to try and reduce the background noise whilst still involving the audience.
I think I'd sum up saying fantastic concept, needs a lot of improvement....
Rant over.
The 10p budget has been halved judging by tonights show

Having a clearout of a load of gear that I've not worn and am never likely to. Usual forum rules apply - dibs followed by PM. Pickup from Finsbury Pk. I've tried to be as accurate with the sizing as possible.
BMC Replica Team Kit (XL bibs & jersey) x2 sets - not the Hincapie clothing stuff but still nice never-the-less and the chamois on the bib shorts is actually not too bad. Comes in a nice little bag. Both sets as new. Pretty much sizes up as an XL.
£25 each (x2 avail) - Dibs'd by Sheathy pending try on
Cervelo/Castelli team issue poloshirt x2 (XXL Italian - translates to conventional large - no, really!). Really nice with embroidered chest logo and Cervelo 'e' on either arm. Not been worn much at all.
£20 each
SKY/Adidas 2011 Replica jersey (Large)
As new with tags still in-situ. Snug large.
£25
Europcar/Louis Garneau Replica jersey & bib shorts (XL)
Brand new with tags. Really nice Chamois on the bibs. Sizes up a bit on the small side so think conventional large.
£50
Garmin Transistions/Pearl Izumi 2010 Replica Jersey (L)
Brand new with tags. Will include a matching brand new (shrink wrapped) Camelbak Podium bottle. Size is pretty much spot on.
£20

Ed, if you're after a disc-equipped road bike my suggestion would be to hold your horses until 2014 bikes start appearing. I think you'll probably have a lot more choice.
