Should be ok....you will need the quill converter though to attach it.....do you want both? (I'll do them together for £14)

If I were you though, I'd go for the Syncros quill stem....its a lovely bit of kit and is very rare!!!

That is gorgeous but sadly way too big for me :o(

Albeit from a distance in the photo, in my opinion what you are looking at is/;
Nouvo Record rear mech
Super Record front mech (the holes in the cage plates are the giveaway)
Super Record brake levers (drilled and too early to be Victory judging by rest of kit)
Record calipers (unless Ti bolts in which case Super Record)
Record Strada cranks (will be marked on back of crank arms) with Nouvo Record inner ring and Super Record outer
Super Record seatpin

That mix of Nouvo and Super Record was all the buzz in the late 70's/early 80's when the Nouvo Record bits would have kept the price down a little bit....but I bet this bike cost around £800 even in "old money" so was a huge investment for someone way back then.....

Rang this guy up. Wanted an offer away from E Bay as he "wasn't going to sell it for £50".
Doesn't know the 1st thing about bikes in general or this bike in particular.
Paypal, though an option on the item description was an issue, apparently he was having "a few problems" so wanted a cheque, which he wanted to clear before he sent the bike. Alternativly cash by registered post up front.

Got a good feedback level, but something is not right here, so buyer beware.
