Because if the derailleur is set up properly then the chain can't come off... Although if you run a single front chainring on and gears at the back they are semi handy as the chain has a habit of coming off when you hit big bumps, at least mine did

Would do if they are improperly glued / taped on. I find I can change a tub (using tape) much quicker that i could change an inner tube on a clincher though. They are pretty easy to get on once they have been pre-stretched

If its for the track I have a pair of Vittoria Pista CS, came on a pair of wheels that had been used a claimed twice on the track - could believe it from the condition of everything. Will be taking them off as I will be using them on the road. Size you want and tread pattern too.

Unless i missed something it just ran out with no bids. Reckon he might accept an offer of around 300-350 though. I was only really interested as I thought the auction could have been won for £1, and it would be easy for me to collect
