I guess Putin's superpower is his subjects' ability to live for decades in the most appalling conditions yet never picking up the courage to demand change in any meaningful way.
It blows my mind how there still are people in eastern Ukraine who seem to think they are better off in their little statelets, despite how sophisticated Ukraine as a whole has become since the orange revolution. -

I wonder if a lot of them are not under some kind of slavery contract that they have to enter the UK to work off the debts for their traffickers.
I think this possibility is not spoken about enough. As a leftie I worry that we (us lefties) don't talk enough about those who might have been partially tricked into life as a refugee by unscrupulous human smugglers.
The far right are of course exaggerated in their view of immigration as a menace, but I think the left can be exaggerating if suggesting that taking to the road was the only, or the inevitable, option for all those that end up in limbo somewhere in Europe. For many yes, but perhaps not all of them. -

Noob question; the GZCL infographic describes how you change your sets and reps when your progress reaches the point of failure. Am I right in thinking that your programme will soon start to become slightly out of sync? For example, you may have proceeded to the 6 x 2 stage on the T1 exercise you do on Mondays while still being on 5 x 3 for the T1 you do on Thursdays?
When do GZCL heads decide it's time to rip up the programme and start afresh on a new cycle? -

The product I am after is ground insect as an additive for soups.
I had roasted scorpion in Beijing and it was fucking delicious. Like the crispy skin of a roast chicken. In my dream scenario I will heat up whatever vegan friendly soup is on offer, but then add a scoop or two of bug powder to add the meaty savoury richness you struggle to get from veg alone. In my imagination the bug powder is fairly gelatinous so dissolves after a bit of stirring. In addition to the flavour enhancement, I would be getting a decent amount of animal protein without having to glug down a shake.
My concern with cricket farming is mostly food safety. How do I know the bugs live clean and healthy lives inside your client's warehouse? Much easier to tell with established methods of farming.

Putin comparing himself to Peter the Great is so fucking cringeworthy. We all knew that's what he was after all along, but the adult thing would have been to wait until someone else made the remark.
But this also gets my hopes up again regarding the possibility of a serious illness. I thought about it a lot during first couple of weeks, then my interest in that rumour kind of waned. This recent desperate attempt to guide his own legacy makes me think he could be pondering some bad news from his doctors.

All I'm saying is ....
Then you should put in a lot of work on improving your rhetoric. Because the counter reactions you have been getting is to all the other nonsense you've somehow managed to cram into your argument. Your posts in this thread are all over the shop, suggesting splitting up NATO to form a "mediterranean pact" and that Macron is a fascist.

There is an article I read from a month or so ago that takes all the same facts and argues this not the end of the tank.
Probably not the end of it no, but this moment could be the end of a far too cozy relationship between top brass and the military industrial complex. Procurement contracts will be put under much harsher scrutiny in terms of proving value and efficacy.

As an opinion piece it's inevitably quite one-sided, but it does a good job arguing it's case though. Instead of spunking your entire budget on a small selection of super expensive things you can instead turn your forces into a nimble swarm of much cheaper things. Drones together with hand held things that go boom.

Is anyone else struggling to appreciate Kendrick Lamar?
There were some great tracks on his debut album, but I can't see what people get out of all of the tracks that are just an endless monotone delivery of Christian morals.
