I wish they'd make whey protein that tasted of mocha (coffee and chocolate mixed). and then a variety that tasted like jasmin green tea with milk, like the milkshake stuff you can get in Chinatown.
I find the fruitflavors a bit childish and it's just not very manly starting the day with a big glass of pink goo.

spotted a lovely green fg in balls pond road this morning.
light green or mint green, possibly metallic. no decals. white seat of that super slim italian kind. riser bars, only a subtle rise mind, and white grips. I am guessing a 56 cm size or so.
reason I am posting in the 'stolen bikes' thread was the the guy riding it just can't have been the owner. he was riding it slowly on the sidewalk like the chav he was. the seat was too high for him so he was riding standing over the top tube (if you see what I mean). he seemed uncomfortable/unused to the whole fixed thing and kept tapping his feet on the ground for balance.

... The inside of your shoes should be foot shaped,** pedals should be the same shape as the outside of your shoe** to provide a rigid fixed connection, maybe with a little free movement precisely constrained to the vertical axis only.
OK, so we are not onto something here then?
If we are, then what do you reckon? Admittedly, I am mostly going on about this because I reckon the old C Records look so slick. The System Ex ones would too if they had been all steel.

Yeah, admittedly I know very little about this stuff, but I was picturing leads to a kind of car and bike wholesale operation. Are we actually finding ourselves having a common cause with motorists?
I am guessing that stolen cars get more police attention given the higher value of cars. But if the bike tealeaves overlap with the car theft gangs and we can somehow bring this to the attention of the police, then maybe we are turning up the heat just a little bit on the gumtree and brick lane idiots who so far are doing their shit pretty much in the open.
Again, I am pretty much out of my depth here.

... the bike looked powdercoated, ...
aahh... I was just logging back in again to post about the powdercoat. Was it coated when she bought it? If so that's a clue no?
Sounds more organised than some random crackhead nicking and selling in a short space of time. And how many powdercoat facilites are there? As forumengers are good customers of powdercoating places maybe we could get some vigilante action going?

She's right you know. There's no possible way of getting there on a bus or the tube. We're all evil.
Moreover, if you tell her boss that she's been coming to work on stolen property for the past few months, she might not have a job to travel to anymore anyhow.
To settle it between you two here and now is compassion enough I reckon.

Right, everyone has to have receipts for everything from now on, and carry them all the time. ...
I get your irony/sarcasm. There might not always be receipts, but if the transaction was second hand you should be able to fairly swiftly be able to explain who you bought it from and within a day or so produce that persons phone number, e-bay seller account or similar. As well as that person giving their word that they sold it to you of course.
But if you can only refer to a transaction in the street/pub with someone you're at best are on first names with, then you're no friend of mine. Ever.

Something odd in the discussion here. Having bought it 'in good faith' seems to add a sheen of legitimacy in some people's eyes. But then again, what proof is there of that transaction?
Whoever is riding around on a stolen bike might very well have stolen it themselves for all we know. The buying/selling is the uncertain part, the theft most definitely certain.

I am reading that they are alight for ten seconds after the wheels stop turning. If they are still shining as I lock up my bike outside tesco's it's guaranteed they'll be nicked. A worst case scenario is that chavs will damage the valve as they wrestle the lights off and I'll have to roll the bike home.
As there are different brands out there, could you guys post how long your lights continue to shine after you've stopped?

What's the after-care like? Do you have to use eye drops all the time? If yes, how long for?
used eye drops for a month I think? initially several times a day, then down to twice a day or so. the fact that I can't remember there being much aftercare is a good sign I suppose.
if you do it in the UK there are regular check ups after the surgery to reassure you that all is well. included in the initial price of course.
you need to have someone take you home after the surgery and look after you for a bit. you won't be in any real pain, but most people feel like keeping their eyes closed as they are a bit sore. I had a mate pick me up and then I had some soup ready on the stove to heat up. I went to bed early and the next day I could see fine. you'll be off work for two days I think.

your link isn't working anymore, but were they Route One jeans? the slim ones are 40 quid for two so how is the quality?
