Certainly, there were and are significant cultural and religious differences between the two nations, but I 've never brought the "Trainspotting " argument that the Scots were colonised by the English.
Both countries, at all levels, did well out of the Empire and were equally engaged. Where would the Empire have been without the intellectual power of the Edinburgh Enlightenment?
And what about the Darien Scheme...

Looks like they are developing the current Riverside Frame but losing the suspension fork for, I assume, carbon and more braze-ones. My daughter has Riverside 900. It's not at all bad though heavy and could have been assembled better. I am tempted by the 920, which has a Sram groupset and Mavic wheels; or I could wait..

I run events for kids from 8-9 upwards. Along with other NE London clubs, we are making a serious effort to widen our membership and so do something about cycle sport's diversity problem. So having a PP member enter one of our events wearing their current team strip goes against these aims
I can't see PPs as a serious club whilst they have the names of various explicit porn programmes on their jerseys.

I suspect more its more bureacracy than deviousness.
We , LVCC , have some common interest with Essex clubs but holding BC regional meeting in N Essex/Suffolk enable clubs to work together.
Don't forget that until 2010 there were very London clubs whose members were still in London.
No, they have little interest in club development or support. Does anyone remember Brian Cookson 's attitude towards the Eastway. -
