"This is a picture of the old Southern Railway Horse Stables as it is today and was originaly the Horse Hospital for the Southern Railway for the Horses that worked out of the Bricklayers Arms Depot it is believed that some 5000 horses worked the Bermondsey area in the height of Horse transport.
The main stable as I remember it was at the junction of Dunton Road and Willow Walk the horses were stablesd here under the care of the Horse master
The main entrance to the Depot was at the junction with Old Kent road and Pages walk with various other entrances in Willow Walk and Dunton Road.
The main goods yard was between Pages walk and St James Road and from St James road onwards was the marshalling yard for arrivals and departures
You can still walk round the stables at Catlin Road"From this thread on the Bermondsey Boy site. Loads of other pictures and info. on the Bricklayers Arms rail goods depot there too.
30 miles of Saturday morning goodness in the saddle thanks to this thread and Brain Stews' tag.

New tag, not Amsterdam...

C360_2012-05-12-17-57-40 by middle of nowhere, on FlickrAnd that's how the game is played round here.
I thought I recognised this from a visit to Edam a couple of years back but Street Images says no. I guess there's lots of these hump backed bridges in Holland.

Photobucket works for me on android and is available for iphone. Take the photo and then "share" it to photobucket. Once the photo is uploaded, open the photobucket app and then open up the picture you want to post. Open up the menu and select "view links". A single click on the "direct link" copies that to the clipboard ready for pasting onto the thread.
These are the instructions for Android. I assume iphone is the same or very similar. -

I had a mould problem on the tiled walls to a small ensuite shower cubicle. It was built in a corner which was also the 2 outside corners to the house. The only ventilation was an extract fan which I didn't want running when we were in bed. I got rid of the problem by always leaving the cubilce and ensuite doors just slightly ajar instead of fully closed.

It's not 60 doors luckily but 60 hinges. Doors are mostly fire check and fitted with 1 1/2 pairs. They are existing doors and the hinges are replacing what is already there so it's more of a trim to fit than starting from scratch. The cut outs need extending around 4 mm due to the odd size of the original (read cheap, thin, rusty) hinges and depening slightly.
If I was hanging these from scratch, it would be 100% rounded hinges and a router.
I expect the final plan will actually be do 2 or 3 doors, get bored and pay someone to finish the job.... -
It really depends on what house prices are doing at the time you are in a position to go ahead. If they are rising faster than inflation then you would probably be better off going ahead with a purchase. On the other hand, if the market is still flat then perhaps bide your time and wait for the right one to come along.
Why are you thinking of delaying purchasing?

Sounds like someone simply entered the wrong date on the contract. The first payment should be June 22 and not May.
