Take it to a mechanic. If you have to ask for the forums opinion then you obviously need a professionals help. You could take a spanner to it but why bother when £5-£20 will easily cover the repair and have it set correctly rather than guessing by eye and risking snapping your non replaceable hanger off. Any decent mechanic will easily fix that in about five minutes. As a full time employed mechanic myself I know as I see this kind of thing all the time. Without the correct alignment tool, your gears will most likely never work properly again.

As the title says, I have a Trek 1000 road bike 2007 discovery channel Tour de France special for sale.
Size is- seat tube 50cm c to c
top tube 54cm c to cInfo of original spec- http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes/2007/archive/1000
The bike now has full 105 groupset running a double up front 39/52t and 10 speed 12-25 cassette. Specialized mondo tyres.
It is in perfect working order with no parts in need of immediate replacement. The chain and cassette will probably be the first things in need of replacement but will probably be fine for another 500 miles roughly.
It is set up with cross top brake levers also but can be removed if preferred without.
I work as a qualified bike mechanic full time and rebuilt this bike from the ground up so am happy to answer any questions regarding it.
£450 ONO make me an offer?

When I go from riding my fixed bike to my BMX I'm always surprised by how much room I'm given. I've always put it down to a combination of the erratic pedaling, wide bars and the general publics perception of how a BMXer might think/act compared to the smooth, fast and streamlined riding position on my fixed gear. I do tend to ride all over the road on my BMX though.

edscoble- I'm guessing that questions aimed at me?, well I plan on riding across denmark in the summer for a few days and just wanted something kind of do it all that I can use for practical and fun uses. The inbred is perfect, I even took it around brockwell park bmx track yesterday evening and it felt right at home.

My girlfriend railed her front wheel in a gap between the big concrete slabs that pave the path's in places along the canal. Inevitably decked it but luckily in the opposite direction of the canal. She was avoiding a hyper dog. It was funny seeing the owners argue over the dog having to go an a lead as the woman went mental at her husband in typical, "I told you so" fashion but the bloke was having none of it.
Go to sleep Nelaii!!! haha feeling any better?.

The fork is an SR Suntour XCR mg.
as seen here- http://www.flcuk.com/components/forks-suspension/p2581s161/suntour-xcr-mg-lockout-fork.htm
they are fully working but missing the right hand leg lock out switch although it is possible to use a 5mm allen key to turn lock out on/off. Could easily make something to replace the switch. Otherwise riding without the switch does not affect the performance of the fork in any way.

£10 will buy you this luxurious fish tank of dreams. Well maybe not luxurious or dreamy but it comes with all the accessories as pictured and seems to be (visually) in working condition although I've never used it. The tank itself measures approximately 60cm x 40cm x 30cm and the whole unit stands just under 80cm high.
Pick up only from SW2 any week day after 5pm.
Cash on collection.
Please only dibs if you are sure you want it. For £10 I don't want to mess around with viewings so sold as seen.

I serviced it well over a year ago but has seen less than 500 miles since although as a professional bike mechanic myself I think it deserves a service as it's been sat dormant for a while. The chain is past .75 wear but not fully worn. I would service it fully but don't have the time and it needs to be ridden rather than sat in the basement with all my other "to sell" bikes.
Would prefer collection from brixton/streatham weekday evenings or can possibly deliver within london at extra cost although my working hours make late evening pick up preferable.
NO DIBS ETC WITHOUT CONFIRMATION BY MYSELF VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE.
