Thinning out the fleet a little.
I'm in Kings Lynn, Norfolk now. (By car 2 roads M11 and A10) or (By train Kings Cross to Kings Lynn direct)
1st up is this beautiful Ambrosio. Alloy frame, size 54 (suit 5' 9" to 5' 11"), carbon forks.
Steering is 'quick', so head angle probably 70 degrees.
Rides beautifully, and good in traffic with the flat bars.
Brakes Shimano Tiagra, twin pivot calipers.
Shimano Tiagra crankset, 52 / 39. Shimano Tiagra front mech. Suntour rear mech. (Only one I could get at the time to cover the range), 8 speed cassette.
Rims 700, with 700 x 25 Conti tyres fitted. Unusual spoke pattern, with 2 spokes next to each other.
Xero hubs.
Really very good condition. Been maintained regardless of expense.
I'm looking for £250

Having a clear out after various projects now finished and these parts are no longer required.
All items will have to be posted as I'm not in London now. PM me and we can sort that out.

All of this.
Look at the Tweed Run. The first 2 or 3 runs were just gatherings, the first 2 without organisation, and were in the right spirit.
Then came organisation, then corporate and tickets appeared, then having to get on line to get the ticket.
Quickly lost its appeal, and I have not been back since 2011.The DD should remain in its current format, simply just a night ride to the coast.
Well, what a co-incidence.
I've got one of these on order, in fluro yellow as well.
Frame should arrive this week.
First new bike for 10 years!
Have gone with the standard Kinesis build kit for the moment, including cable Spyres. (Prefer cable having had lots of buggering about with previous hyd brakes).
There is a bit in a another thread Gravel ( Gnarmac ) Bikes, post #1218.
I'm gonna check for this and run a tap in each thread etc.
Can't really answer your question about rims as I've gone with the std build kit.
Tyres. I'm planning on fitting Panaracer Gravel King to start with, but open to change over time, possibly then the SK variant. Tubed to start, but again over time will upgrade to tubeless.
I have a more general question about chain lube though. Currently using a WD40 product, but always seems to stay 'wet' and so collects crud all the time.
Any recommendation for a 'dry' type lube?
