Still not had a BMW that has kept the water inside the engine. Waterpumps in particular seem to be made of chocolate. The whole system (radiators and all) seems to need doing around 80k.

Me and the Mrs used to volunteer at a GSD rescue - the variation in size was amazing!

Our dog was 2 when we got him and was notably aggressive. Took a couple of months to train him out of it. He’s still not really a dog park dog but that’s more a breed thing than anything.

I had a blast on 50/80/125/180cc on L plates. Little bikes are wicked fun. Weight sucks the joy out of two wheels for me. You can balance it with more power to some extent but nothing beats light.

Ours is excellent at guarding the little human. He’s extremely patient, even if he’ll tell him off for doing something really egregious from time to time. After 2.75 years, he’s still not affectionate with him though. Maybe next year...

I used to use the relatively cheapie Oxford ones. Never really a problem with getting your hand back in at speed but they can pull on the levers when you're getting a wiggle on. Over 85 or so, they used to pull in the clutch. Handlebar muffs really do work but I still recall the joyous spring days when they came off and went back in the box for another year.
