Wondering if I could get the opinions of the hive mind on my 58cm GT Edge Ti (shoddy photo attached). I'm about to (reluctantly) sell it but don't have a lot of value information to go on. I know I willingly well overpaid for it a few years ago and looking on eBay I've found just the one sold recently in the states for ~£460.

I actually need to move it on fairly swiftly so is £450 reasonable for the frame, Columbus Muscle fork, and CK headset, and would somewhere like Retrobike be the best place for the classified?

Certainly haggered but I'd been using them until I stripped the bike they were on without issue. You're welcome to try them out if you'd like.

I believe it is supposed to require a DC input to function correctly and almost all hub dynamos give an AC output.

I got it as part of a set but only wanted to the rear to see if running that from a non e-bike specific front lamp would give me a secondary flashing rear, and it does (while in motion). However I couldn't tell you what the result would be using the front I'm afraid.

Price drops on other things

Would anyone one here like a Dualit DCT2? Bottom element has gone but everything else works perfectly. The person who was buying it has pissed about for two weeks and has decided they don't want it anymore. We've got builders in next week and need it gone so it's free if you come and get it. It weighs almost 25kg and is approximately W40cm x H40cm x D65cm just so you know what you're getting yourself into!

Just to check have you confirmed that the reason you're having problems is because of an IP address conflict?

If your router is setup to dynamically assign IP addresses then this shouldn't be a problem. Can you connect to the router (usually something like 192.162.1.0 or 192.168.1.254) and see if it's set to DCHP?

Also before you start setting static IP addresses a a bit of a bodge fix have you tried clearing the phone's cache as detailed a bit lower down on the post?

Yes standard upright position, it has a standard drivetrain as well as the hand based one. It looks similar in principle to the Stanford one @π_Card shows. I assume it's for the extra exercise.

If it'll fit your dropouts I've got a set of (or at least the one with the hanger on it) DMR chain tensions that came with the first generation Trailstar way back when. Run it with a full length of gear outer as a 1x?

I've found out what it was, or rather what I suspect it was. Tucked away in the small print for Argos click and collect items (this is an opt out and not opt in system by the way...) is that no one length can be longer than 90cm and the longest of mine was 96cm.

I sold an item on eBay and the buyer used the option to have it delivered to their local Argos for collection. Over the weekend I got an email from MyHermes to say that Argos had refused delivery (the reference for delivery was clearly marked on the parcel) and it was being returned to me.

Has anyone had a similar problem and if so how did you resolve it? I currently have emailed MyHermes for more information but expect them to shrug and say hey we did our part and tried to deliver it. I'll contact eBay in the morning and I guess try to call the Argo in question but really I'm going to end up being shafted aren't I?
