@moth, alot of people are opposed to wind farms, most of the arguments seems to stem from the aesthetics on the land- doesn't look pretty dotted all over the place! ...ive lived in countries where blackouts occur, still people do nothing .....although I have seen more change the last few years then ever before, just slow getting the message through

2 points.

1. I will have my own earth hour at 9pm, cause I have washing on right now (and I forgot).

2. wind farms are actually induction motors, therefore, if it is not windy they draw currant/load from the grid therefore can be seen as a drain. The other reason some sceptics dont like them is you are essentially leaving power generation up to chance as if it aint windy, you iant getting power. I could go on, but I shant bore people

Yesterday afternoon on Upper Street. Driver did a u-turn without looking and sent a fixed rider onto the pavement where he collided with my wife and daughter.
