The fork doesn't have lawyer lips, so these stop the wheel falling out if the axle nuts come loose (there is one on each side). In practice not really necessary, but they are original and in good condition so were kept.

Ha. Normally I would concur. I couldn't not fit it on this bike as it is the original suntour branded one that is as new.

They are the original Araya 26" x 1.75s. Not sure internal width it external is about 40mm, so not narrow. Schwalbe tyres come up true to size on the same rim so it can only be the tyre differences.

Yeah GB 60mm long fenders. They clear these RTPs ok, I run much tighter clearances on other bikes. The front needed notching to get it close enough to the crown. The rear needed trimming as the chain fouled it on the small chainring. I got steel VO hardware for the fenders too as didnt really like the included plastic clips. Only thing I would say is that the RTPs come up quite small for their marked 2.3 (58mm) width. The Supermotos were true to size but these are not, closer to 53mm. I doubt i could get the SMs to clear in these fenders tbh.

Will take some decent photos soon,couple more final details to sort out first.

Couple more additions: an age correct original Concor Supercorsa Confort (not a typo) saddle, and the replacement set of Sugino VP130 170mm cranks I've been searching for since I first picked this bike up. These polished up a treat. Not put any proper miles in on this saddle yet so no idea how I'll get on with that. May end up changing again, but at least it looks better than the Rolls for now.

Yeah I was planning to. Not entered yet, and no idea yet in what capacity I'll ride it. I don't have the miles in my legs to properly attack it so will do something else for fun. 2 girls on the back might be a bit much. You?

Just catching up, this looks excellent. Glad you found something rad to hang that group and wheels from. Far prefer that to the Saracen too. Charmouth looks like a good ride. I lived that way about 20 years ago, certainly some good climbing.
