blue is a cotton nylon mix according to the label and im assuming the brown is the same, feels it anyway.

absolutely, great guy. as for his new frames, just take a look on his blog. Mine was one of the first he put together and is powder coated with sticker decals but the new ones are reynolds, wet painted with painted on logos. lushhh.

Here it is, my Feather. I'm spraying the wheels black and lacquering them this week. New stem and bars hopefully from the cycle jumble at the velodrome. Massive props to Ricky for hookin me up and makin me the raw ass forks. More pics soon maybe.

My mate had a gorgeous waugh a few years ago in celeste that he found in a skip! it was 531 as well, lasted a good 2 years then the top tube rusted through and it gave up the ghost. Such a shame.

Apologies about the late response but I was considering sending the wheel to zipp but it is too much hassle and as I don't have a reciept, it's unlikely I'd get anything done.

@velonoir, i'd rather not sell the rim seperately if someone wants the whole wheel. I've looked under the rim tape and the gap is a consistent all the way round i.e. 1mm.

Highest offer is 60 at this time and theres quite alot of interest. I don't want to act like I'm ebay but I need to get as much for it as poss seems i just put myself into massive debt by buying a new frame, fail.

as title says, anything considered but ideally I'd like some straightblades if anyone has any. Threaded or unthreaded considered also. cheers

This is a zipp 530 700c rims, also 58mm deep, are hollow molded and fully utilize Zipp’s proprietary technology.
Just had a look at the wheel, braking surface is perfect apart from the join in the rim where there seems to be a 1mm gap. I had no idea of this until i was cleaning the rims and it has never been noticeable when being ridden and my friend who has also ridden these wheels agreed. Bearings are perfect.

very close up pic, the gap isn't as big as it seems but as I'm sure many of you will see this as fucked, I'm open to offers over 60, bearing in mind the hope ti hub is in brand new condition, the spokes can be reused and the rim could be rebuilt as a front wheel on a brakeless. As far as i'm aware its fine to ride on but thast just my opinion.
