I'm off to Paris on Friday on a national express coach. Anyone had any experience with taking bikes on them? I plan to take bars wheels saddle and cranks off so as it's not "irregular baggage". They allow two 20kg suitcases and my bike doesn't weigh anyway near that. Also I do not have a bike bag/box. Any help is appreciated. cheeers.

The ability to dance on the pedals at a high cadence to inject bursts of speed is characteristic of great, small, thin, light climbers. This sport has been damaged enough without more rumours without basis. I think (hope) that biological passports and testing have turned the tide. I guess im saying STFU!

I never accused anyone of doping, I was merely pointing out how unaffected contador was at the end of the stage and that it seemed a little suspicious. I love the sport but its hard to have faith in any one any more, Rasmussen was my favourite rider for years but then got banned. Conatdor looked like ricardo ricco did last year, and that wasnt natural. Just my opinion so I guess I'm just saying STFU to you too.

Also, hate to be a doubter but did anyone think Contador rode like he was drugs, he wasn't even breathing heavily after the stage and last time we saw crushing victories like that they were from Rasmussen, Kohl, Basso, Landis. Anyone see the trend?

Right, apologies. The measurements on the monoc site are the compact sizes. Mine is small, I just measured to centre of top tube and it is 45cm.

The size is 21 inches centre bb to top of seat tube and top tube length is 21 inches also.

Bit scuffed due to age ( 4 years old) but rrp on the monoc site is £399. I will take £100 Posted ovno.

What the title says, I picked this up a few weeks ago and have since serviced the whole bike and converted (rather crudely) to single speed. The chain line is perfect and the cassette means it can be easily converted back to geared.

Very fun/smooth to ride. Me and my friend ripped around leeds on them the other day.

Maillard Hubs, ITM quill stem, shiny Dawes cranks, headset's smooth n regreased, Schwalbe city tires and weinnmenn brakes.

Saddle has seen better days and spokes may need tightening but the wheels are running true.
Reynolds 500 tubing, very clean, no rust and a rad bell with a crown on it.

£70 picked up or £90 posted.

i remember seein a chris akrigg section on some mbuk dvd a few years ago, it so progressive, the guy is amazing.

i think they have them for 25 on ebay, or at least they did, I have been lookin for one for ages on the cheap but i haven't had much luck. Rock a peice of bar wrap and some tape where the protector would go, can be made to look alright.
