2008 Specialized allez sport with Fact carbon forks, 58cm. Bought as a turbo/winter bike but it's too big for me.
Brand new shimano r500 rear wheel (0 miles), new drive train and cables, new deda seatpin, gatorskins are pretty new as well. Easton Ea70 bars, mavic ksyrium equipe front wheel, ritchey comp saddle, Shimano tiagra 9 speed group with FSA cranks.
Bad points, tiny ding in the top tube, just above "sport" in the pic, barely noticeable, there's a few paint chips too as you'd expect of a bike this age.
The shifters are quite tatty too, functionally sound though. The return spring in the right lever needs replacing (£4 from sjs cycles) but the tension from the brake keeps it in place safely.

I'm in Manchester so £250 posted to your door?

I'm in the exact same boat as you. Currently in hospital with cancer but already planning a new build for when I get out and get back to training. I've been leaning towards the Ribble R872. Good write ups and just over 500 for frame and forks. Trying to do a sub £1000 build, luckily I have the wheels already/finishing kit already. Where did you acquire the gruppo?
Glad to hear you beat cancer man.

Cranks- Shimano 5600 compact 172.5
Stem- Ritchey pro 4 axis 100mm
Bars- FSA omega compact drop 42 width
Bartape- Unused Deda carbon effect
Seatpin- Ritchey WCS
Saddle-Selle italia

One issue I'd say is there is a litle play in the freehub but it shifts very smoothly still. Pic is without chain but it'll get a 5700 chain. New cabling throughout.I'm looking for £600 (plus postage or a little towards petrol), the frame and forks are £499.99 at the moment on Planet X.
Any questions please ask, Located in Manchester but may be driving to LDN this month so could deliver.

Bought this on Ebay, the frame is NOS, I'm assuming from the load Planet X bought. TT is 55cm. seat tube is 57cm, Italian BB, 1 inch steerer, braze on front mech. Strange curved stays and industrial looking BB/ chainstay cluster is pretty cool looking as is the crazy paint job, weighs1.62kg

The problem with the frame is that it doesn't have mounts on the down tube for shifters or cable guides (ebay seller failed to mention), after some research and help from people on here I found it's the same case with old Cannondale frames and found you can buy the mounts from here:
I'd like to sort it and build it up but illness and too many other bikes I'm not riding means I really shouldn't.
I'd like the £35 I paid for it back, so add the 34 euros for the bosses and it's a decent frame for around £60. In Manchester But I'll post for £10, I'll donate to the forum as well. Cheers.

What it says on the title. Don't fancy spending 23 quid on crc as its for my winter bike. New or used. I'm in Manchester too if you don't mind posting. Thanks!
