Ended up changing the axle as well.
The lip where upon where the bearings centres are being pushed appears to be mushroomed when compared to the new axle.
Not sure whether this resulted in too much lateral force applied to the bearing units thus causing the lumpy friction issue, blah blah blah....
They dont seem that much smoother now with new axles and well seated bearings, maybe they'll bed in a bit. -
You lot might want to rethink before you post incorrect links to BBs!

Has anyone else using Goldtecs found that when tightening the bolts, the wheel then has a fair amount of resistance and feels quite notchy when turned?
I changed the bearings but it still feels the same, the wheel spins like a mutha when loose in the track ends.
I guess I could have a slightly bent axle. -

A pair of Dura Ace 7700 (7703) 170mm crank arms in fantastic condition. I don't think these have been used but look to have been mounted at some point, maybe very little use.

Included is a Octalink V1 5500 Bottom bracket in A1 condition, again barely used. English thread.
Self extracting bolts are included but no chain rings or bolts. I believe this is 130bcd.
