Very relieved to hear that you’ve been on the sofa with her – we’ve got a mattress on the kitchen floor next to the crate and have similarly relented in the face of sleep deprivation. Last night was the first (two weeks in) that she managed a few hours in the crate. Looking forward to getting back in my own bed!

A flat-coated retriever - we're collecting her next Friday (pictures when we do).
I've taken the week off so can't have made it much easier. Will be interesting when we go back to working from home, think separation anxiety is something we'll need to work on.
Are you looking at training classes? We visited one this weekend and I'm minded to take her as soon as we can. Sounds like you're already getting some great socialisation in from the bag!

Long-time reader but first time posting.
My partner and I are due to collect our first puppy (a flat-coated retriever) in early November and we’re beyond excited.
One thing I haven’t sorted is a chew resistant bed (or “pad”) for her crate - is there anything folk would recommend? Looking at reviews of “indestructible” beds, most seem to be made in the USA but sure that can’t be all that’s out there.
And of course pictures when pup arrives…

Can anyone comment if there’s much difference between the Exposure Flare and something like their Blaze for daytime use?
I’ve got a Flare (with a new battery) but to my eye – it doesn’t look “daybright”. My understanding is that the Flare is 75 lumens which doesn’t seem far off the Blaze at 80 lumens which is advertised as daybright. Thanks in advance.

Adding these good folk I've bought from to the list, thanks all!

Looking for a cheap watch with a lap split timer – can anybody recommend one?
My dad is looking for something but has only found a stopwatch on a lanyard so I thought I’d ask in the hope he doesn’t need to spend megabucks.
Looked through this thread but only found £100+ offerings from Garmin so far, thanks in advance.

Hoping someone might be able to help please, I'm looking to get my brother a first pair of bib tights for a cycling holiday.
Would I be looking at a large or extra-large for a 36" waist in DHB/similar?
