Hi Brighton riders,
am down from Birmingham and spent all weekend building a road bike for my girlfriend in cranks, managed to finish and wanna ride about tomorrow, brought my fixed but fucked my front wheel, anyone have one I can borrow for the day? I can leave a deposit and repay with drink or whatever, won't be doing miles, just a pootle about, would be great if some one could help, 700c, doesn't need a tyre, I have one, in fact I could swop you for the day's loan, please help!

you can get 36H pairs from ribble I think, I did a few months ago anyway. Small flange.

have been quoted £20 by these guys for blast and coat which seems like a bargain, anyone used them, are they shit? any other to suggest?

apparently they're not called Bournes any more and they may have moved but I got some powder coating guy on the end of the phone who gave me the quote.

anyone have a shimano fitting 42t or therabouts chainring? pretty sure 130bcd, Have been stubbornly using my 40t biopace one cos sheldon said it was good, but everyone on forum was right- it's shit.

Brand new hub, 36H, had to buy a pair cos couldn't get 36H just rear, a pain to get at all in fact, oh, small flange.

got 105 six or seven speed, can't remember which, be round covent garden tomorrow afternoon or could post, few quid if you want them. They're for braze ons which the above link is not for, bit confused which you're after.

cheers for the advice re. valuations, I like the claude so would want to let it go for less than £65 but was hoping for slightly more. Nigel is MASSIVE, makes me smile whenever I look at it.

Got two frames, one a lovely Claude Butler, 531 frame and forks, lovely electric blue, some chips in the paint and normal scrapes and wear around the bottom of the rear triangle. Was going to convert, 128mm rear dropout. Currently has a B****D, M%&^^$*%&^(&*g crank stuck in it, WILL be removed soon. Any interest/ offers/valuation?
Secondly something a little funky, a 27" seattube (MASSIVE!) Nigel Dean touring frame in 531ST tubing. No idea what the bollocks to do with this, look at the size of the thing! My 6'5" Brother was riding it with the saddle as low as possible. Needs painting really but a shame it's not being used as I imagine someone that tall would have trouble finding a bike. Anyone know any really tall people looking for a well built huge frame? Oh, and there's a handcuff style bike lock stuck on it.
