Your crank arm is giving. If they refitted everything properly, then it could be that your crank arm is rounded off. Take it off and have a look at the taper. If it's not square, it won't sit properly on the BB and will only get worse.

Good fun ride, 56.8 miles (for Supertony), but stacked it on the way home whilst checking for Andy behind me, misjudged the big roundabout at Wandsworth and hit the curb, did a good slide across the knobbly blue cycle path on the pavement, ripped my bibs and got a few nice drippy cuts. Still, could have been worse. Bike is fine. Thanks for organising Graham!
